Tattoos

hygiene is of the utmost importance

In our opinion, anybody thinking about having any tattoo work done should consider two main issues - the quality of the tattooing and the level of hygiene. Here at 'The Cat With The Tat' we take both of these issues very seriously and consider them of equal importance.

The Treatment Room here at the studio is designed with hygiene in mind, it is tiled throughout and kept immaculately clean. All needles, grips, tips, tubes and ink caps are single use disposables (as recommended in Council guidelines) and are UK sourced. Clipcords are bagged and machines stripped down and cleaned regularly. General standards are high and strictly adhered to at all times.

So what about the actual tattooing? The Cat With The Tat is passionate about tattooing - few things in life give you so much pleasure, over such a long period, as a well designed and executed piece of ink. Far too many people however are wearing tattoos that they simply do not like - either they have the wrong design or have poor quality work - unfortunately sometimes both.

There are, deliberately, no tattoo designs on the wall to try to avoid the 'I want that one' method of choosing a tattoo. The vast majority of our work is custom designed to suit each individual client. There is plenty of reference material here to give you ideas though clients are encouraged to bring in their own ideas or designs.

The equipment used is of the highest quality - Micky Sharpz tattoo machines, Kuro Sumi and Skin Candy inks (as used on Miami Ink). The work is guaranteed for six months - in the unlikely event that your tattoo needs touching up once it is finished and has healed this will be done for free.

Overall we offer an excellent and personalised service, striving for perfection with every piece of work we do - no matter how small. Tattoos are there for life, make the right choice.
